The BLAST Waltz November 26th!
Hello Gulleyful people!
I want to officially announce the Blast Waltz! This concert extravaganza is November 26th at Salisbury’s Black Box Theater. It features us, our very very good and talented friends the Ends, and William & the Geographers (yes, that William & Geographers from a few years back)! And best of all, concert is free!
The BLAST Waltz features an interesting concept. There will be no opener or closer; instead, bands will take turns in performing by alternating mini four-song sets. It’s an idea inspired by The Last Waltz, which featured the Band performing their songs and backing up other great artists, such Clapton, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, and Neil Young.
Of course, the big news is the reunion of William & the Geographers. They (us) will perform some of their classic tunes. If you don’t know who W. and the Gs are, then you missed out on a vital part of the Salisbury music scene from 2006 to 2008.
This is the first band Chobey and I joined. I created the band with my good friends Noah Brisbin, Kyle Whisenant, and Adam Kennedy. The last time we performed together was July 12th, 2008. This a reunion we’re very excited about.
In addition, Noah and Kyle will also lend their talents on a few Gulley tunes.
Pizza and beer will be sold at the BLAST Waltz. Again, this concert is FREE! I promise this will be an amazing show!
